Axiom Construction

Service area · Six Florida counties

Where we work — and what to do if your town isn't listed.

Axiom Construction works Lee, Collier, Charlotte, Broward, Miami-Dade and Palm Beach counties: both Florida coasts, from Punta Gorda down through Naples and across to Fort Lauderdale, Miami and Palm Beach.

The list below is every town we travel to. If yours is not on it, call anyway — the boundary is about drive time and project size, not a hard line on a map, and we would rather tell you honestly than have you assume.

The short version

Six counties, 64+ towns, one license.

One Florida certified general contractor license (#CGC1541275) covers all of it — a state certification is valid statewide. What changes county to county is not our authority to work, it is the permitting authority and the code regime, and that is the part worth getting right before anyone prices a job.

Lee County

18 towns

Our home county and the bulk of our work. Four separate permitting authorities inside it — Cape Coral, Fort Myers, Bonita Springs and the Village of Estero each run their own, with Lee County covering everything unincorporated.

Collier County

9 towns

Naples and everything around it. The City of Naples permits inside city limits; Collier County Growth Management covers the rest — which is most of what people call Naples.

  • Ave Maria
  • Bonita Shores
  • Everglades City
  • Golden Gate
  • Immokalee
  • Marco Island
  • Naples
  • North Naples
  • Vanderbilt Beach

Charlotte County

5 towns

North of Lee, and squarely inside the area we travel. Punta Gorda and Port Charlotte took heavy storm damage and much of the work here is still reconstruction.

  • Englewood
  • Placida
  • Port Charlotte
  • Punta Gorda
  • Rotonda West

Broward County

12 towns

The east coast side of our work. Broward sits in the High-Velocity Hurricane Zone, so product approval and installation requirements are stricter here than anywhere on the west coast.

  • Coconut Creek
  • Coral Springs
  • Davie
  • Deerfield Beach
  • Fort Lauderdale
  • Hollywood
  • Miramar
  • Pembroke Pines
  • Plantation
  • Pompano Beach
  • Sunrise
  • Weston

Miami-Dade County

11 towns

The other half of the High-Velocity Hurricane Zone. Miami-Dade product approval is the strictest standard in the state, and a Notice of Acceptance is what a reviewer expects to see with the submittal.

  • Aventura
  • Coral Gables
  • Doral
  • Hialeah
  • Homestead
  • Kendall
  • Key Biscayne
  • Miami
  • Miami Beach
  • North Miami
  • Pinecrest

Palm Beach County

9 towns

North of Broward and outside the High-Velocity Hurricane Zone, so the product approval regime changes again — one more reason the window schedule is confirmed per county rather than per project.

  • Boca Raton
  • Boynton Beach
  • Delray Beach
  • Jupiter
  • Lake Worth
  • Palm Beach Gardens
  • Royal Palm Beach
  • Wellington
  • West Palm Beach

Why the county matters

The same job is not the same job in two counties.

Who issues the permit

Cities, villages and counties all issue their own. An address does not tell you which — the parcel does, and getting it wrong costs weeks.

Which products are approved

Broward and Miami-Dade sit in the High-Velocity Hurricane Zone. A window schedule valid in Lee County can be rejected outright there.

Flood and elevation

Required elevation and the FEMA 50% substantial-improvement threshold are administered locally, and the local determination governs.
